I was driving home one autumn evening along the stunning lanes of the White Peak, when the clouds suddenly turned a very ominous grey, despite the low sun still lighting up the surrounding fields. I just love these conditions, that contrast of the dark sky and the bright land. Very luckily, I was driving along the prettiest little lane that runs through the rolling hills between Alsop en le Dale and Thorpe, and the view ahead of me was just too good not to stop and capture.

Prints
My photographic prints are all printed on archival quality Fuji Pro DPII Lustre professional photographic paper. Coated with a slightly stippled texture, they have a semi-matt finish with minimal glare. Prints on fine art photographic papers are available on request; please send me a message for more information and prices. This image is available in sizes from 6×6″ to 12×12″.

Canvases
My canvases are individually printed in the UK onto high quality 100% cotton canvas of 340GSM thickness, using a 12 colour process for richer tones and brighter whites. They’re hand-stretched onto European pine wood frames, and are supplied with fixings so that they’re ready to hang on your wall straightaway.
Canvases for this image are available in either 8×8″ or 12×12″, and in a choice of two depths. The 20mm edge canvas is slimline to fit beautifully against your wall, whereas the 45mm edge canvas is sturdier, chunkier and makes more of a bold statement in your home.
