Hello!
I feel lucky beyond measure to live and work in the heart of the Peak District National Park, and for many years it has been my pleasure and privilege to record its beauty in all seasons, weathers and moods. I love nothing more than wandering the countryside of this very special place, camera in hand.
I’ve never considered myself a landscape photographer in the traditional sense; more a collector of little moments. The Peak District has no shortage of grand vistas and iconic landmarks, but I have always found the biggest inspiration in the smallest scenes. My photographs are a celebration of those glimpses of life that often pass unnoticed: the light that glances across fields for a split second between clouds, the swirling mists that roll through the valleys on still mornings, or the dappling of early sunshine on quiet lanes.
I share my photographs every day on social media, and I am followed by almost 150,000 people online from across the world. My work has featured on BBC national TV and radio, and in numerous magazines, including Country Living, English Home, and Tudor Places, as well as more locally in Derbyshire Life, Reflections and Pure Peak. In 2024 I was delighted to win the National Parks UK Photographer of the Year Award.
As well as photographing the Peak District landscape that I love so much, I write about it too. I have written many of the features, articles and walks for Let’s Go Peak District, the largest independent visitor website for the Peak District, as well as many Peak District and Derbyshire walks for the area’s official tourist board, Visit Peak District.

After many years of dreaming, planning and creating, my Peaklass Book is finally here!

In 2024 I was delighted to be awarded the National Parks UK Photographer of the Year award, for my shot of Padley Gorge on a midsummer morning.
My images of the Peak District have featured on numerous occasions on the BBC News, both on TV and on the BBC News website.
I have spoken about the Peak District National Park on many occasions on BBC Radio Derby, Leicester and Nottingham.
My photographs feature on a number of cards in the BBC Countryfile range of cards available nationwide, flying the flag for the Peak District.
I was very happy to be featured in Tudor Places Magazine with a detailed article – ‘In Conversation With Peaklass’ – about my work at Haddon Hall.
My images of Haddon Hall have been featured in The English Home Magazine, Country Living Magazine and Pure Peak Magazine.
I am proud that my images have been featured on the cover of Derbyshire Life Magazine on a number of occasions, and I have had an in-depth article inside the magazine about my photography and inspiration. My Peak District images have also appeared on the cover of Reflections Magazine.
