I was out for a walk in the lovely Peak District village of Hathersage one Spring evening, and I chanced upon this little lane that was lit up by the low sun, complete with clusters of daffodils and a gate that had completely given up. I love it when you just happen upon scenes like this. It’s a tiny snapshot of life witnessed as you pass by, rather than an epic scene that you travel to a specific point to see. Sometimes the best views in life are the the simple ones meant just for you.

Prints
My photographic prints are all printed on archival quality Fuji Pro DPII Lustre professional photographic paper. Coated with a slightly stippled texture, they have a semi-matt finish with minimal glare. Prints on fine art photographic papers are available on request; please send me a message for more information and prices. This image is available in sizes from 6×6″ to 12×12″.

Canvases
My canvases are individually printed in the UK onto high quality 100% cotton canvas of 340GSM thickness, using a 12 colour process for richer tones and brighter whites. They’re hand-stretched onto European pine wood frames, and are supplied with fixings so that they’re ready to hang on your wall straightaway.
Canvases for this image are available in either 8×8″ or 12×12″, and in a choice of two depths. The 20mm edge canvas is slimline to fit beautifully against your wall, whereas the 45mm edge canvas is sturdier, chunkier and makes more of a bold statement in your home.
